The main herb in this blend is Guayusa, a powerful plant from the Amazon boasting very high antioxidant levels. Guayusa provides a long-lasting, uplifting energy boost as it decreases adrenaline while increasing noradrenaline. Guayusa has also been found to significantly increase acetylcholine levels (increase memory and cognition) and serotonin levels (happy hormone!). Guayusa is mixed black tea to form an uplifting and energizing duo. To further balance this blend, we add Tulsi Holy Basil, a powerful adaptogenic herb commonly used in ayurvedic medicine to alleviate anxiety, increase mental clarity, and regulate hormone levels. Finally we add in ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon to aid digestion, increase adaptogenic effects (regulate stress), and create a unique and delicious flavor profile. Especially good with milk and honey!
